SOS Save Our Supplements

As you read this, leaders in Washington are working to restrict your access to dietary supplements - including the safe, effective, and affordable vitamins, minerals, and herbs you depend on for your health.

While more than 70 percent of Americans use dietary supplements, some lawmakers want to pass laws that will create roadblocks to supplement access, making it harder for you to purchase the products you rely on for good health.

If you believe consumers deserve real health choices, tell Washington to Save Our Supplements.

ProHormone Cycle

Why Cycle ProHormones?

The main reason to cycle ProHormones is to minimize the side effects of ProHormones.

Administering an exogenous source source of hormone precursors can lead to a variety of negative feedback mechanisms in the body. The most well known is inhibition of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular Axis (HPTA).

When the body receives prohormones from another source, it shuts down natural production. This is the reason for some of the more common side effects from prohormone use like testicular shrinkage.

In order to avoid such side effects, it is necessary to “cycle” prohormones (only use them for a specific period of time) and then follow it with a recovery period to allow natural hormone production to return to normal.

A prohormone cycle is usually between 2 to 8 weeks depending on the substance used, dosage and goals. It should be followed by a recovery period of equal or greater length.
